Catholic Psychotherapy
Catholic Psychotherapy of Thomistic inspiration, integrates the science of psychology and counselling with the richness of the millenary tradition of Catholicism, the perfect combination to be able to cope with life's little big snags that endanger our mental health, bringing us closer to true happiness, the natural ambition of every human being.
I experienced myself the profound change that occurred as a result of greater religious awareness. You should know that I went through a time of very strong personal crisis, like everyone else. Various family vicissitudes in conjunction with the pandemic led me to experience very hard months marked by isolation, anguish, fear, emotional destabilization and great pain. At that moment my internal resources collapsed and I realized that all my previous studies, all the books I had read on NLP, mindfulness, psychoanalysis, strategic brief psychotherapy and whatnot, were useless and ineffective.
I realized that the "atheistic" tools of psychology are often insufficient in the face of the various traumas and human life’s sufferings , and can even be dangerous when they are not combined with a correct "anthropology" that considers man as a substantial unity of body and soul assigning a primordial value, moreover physically healing, to faith and spiritual growth.
Faith is undoubtedly the greatest ally of people's psycho-physical well-being and emotional stability, because it gives a transcendent and loving meaning to human existence, turns away from the sin that is always the source of so much pain, infuses courage and strength to overcome adversity, gives moral integrity and uprightness, hope and optimism in the future.
